I'm a brand new user and created a new project by importing ppt slides into storyline and the footer text box and page number in the slide master template didn't migrate into storyline?
Has anyone else come across this? If so, is there a fix?
Did you add the slide number on a master slide or on each individual slide? I'd look at adding it within the master slide.
Also, a bunch of folks have asked for Slide numbering directly in Storyline - so that's a feature request our team is tracking and looking into. I'll update you here if it's added!
Sorry for the delay. Yes, the slide number was incorporated into the master slide along with the footer. However, when I am imported the ppt into storyline, neither the footer or slide number appeared.
Please see the attached as to what I am talking about.
Thanks, Jeannie. I wanted to test it out with the footers directly as I know that Powerpoint slide numbers are not supported, but I couldn't find any mention of footers/headers. I could see it on the small thumbnail image before importing, but then the actual items didn't appear once imported. I've shared this with my team to find clarification on if it's a bug or a continuation of the slide numbers piece, so I'll keep you posted here.
