I have attached an image of one way to do this. The joy of Storyline is that you there are many ways to achieve the same thing. This is one way and is quite basic and does not rely on you to create variables.
The left Trigger image - Basically where the pass mark is set to 80% I have attached a trigger to the Continue button (which you will put on the results slide of the pre-test) which will reset the quiz if the score is less than or equal 79.
The middle trigger image - If the user has passed the pre-test by scoring at least 80% he jumps to another slide of your choice (you have the choice to reset the quiz or leave it). (Note: you would ignore the condition (Or Mod6Complete == Equal to True ) since I created that for other purposes).
The right trigger image - This trigger jumps the user who has failed the pre-test to the slide of your choice.
