Problem jumping to slide with video / jumping to slide when state completes

I have some very complex animations and special effects in my project.

I have one slide where when the user clicks on the hotspot, it jumps to another slide which has a short video.  The video displays with intermittent random hesitation. 

I found when the video is put into a state on that slide with the hotspot, it displays smoothly.

Is there a way to get that slide to jump to the other slide when the video in the state completes?

And is there a way to get the video to play smoothly when it is on the slide that is jumped to when the user clicks the hotspot on the first slide?
