Problem with SCROM

Aug 14, 2020

I am getting the following error when I try to load an articulated presentation that has been packaged for SCORM 1.2. I also tried SCORM 2004.
An error occurred while processing your SCORM packet. The package may not be in the proper format.
The mistake is:
malformed input disabled: 4773, length: 1

I've already posted 3 before and they uploaded fine, but in this case I record it the same way and it doesn't work on the Blackboard LMS

Hi Diana, try importing the content into SCORM Cloud (a free SCORM testing service) and see if the content imports ok. The error you are reporting does sound like an error on the LMS side to be hones. It's not the usual kind of error reported on import of a SCORM package. That would usually report a missing manifest file, or a problem with the manifest file.

We are encountering the same issue with an Articulate package upload to Blackboard Ultra. It works on Scorm Cloud and Moodle. From my research, this error seems like an error reading the Javascript, that there is a character string that is not well formed. But none of the file names have unreadable characters in them, and I don't know where to go from here. Wondering if you have found a solution?
