Problems with publishing a course created in SL3 to MS Word

Hello,

I can't publish a course created in SL3 to Word. A  week ago or so it worked fine. Not sure if it has something to do with the SL3 update of June 16, 2020 (Build 3.10.22406.0). I tried all the steps for Repairing SL3, or How to Fix unexpected or Erratic Behavior, and nothing helped.

Here is what happens when I try to publish in Word: when I click on "Publish to Word", a window pops up where you normally would see a publishing progress (number of slides left to be processed) - but in my case the progress bar does not show any progress. I left it for over 10 minutes but nothing changed. When I tried to cancel, the course would freeze on me. The only way I can close the file is through Task Manager closing SL3.

Has anyone experienced that or know what the issue might be?
