Proportion of the screen changes

Nov 22, 2018

Hi All,
I am a newbie here and I have been preparing short project, just few slides with same layout and picture. Only text boxes change on every slides. I don't want to use navigation panel only at first slide, but whenever I am trying to modificate that in slide properties the appearance of the slide changes e.g photo changes its position in Preview.

Have You any advice for me?
Thanks in advance and best regards,
Dominika

Hi Dominika,

Your issue is also being experienced by others and our QA team are now looking into this. You can check similar issues and its progress through this link:

Would you mind checking from your side the following?

1. Is your DPI set at 96?

2. Can you confirm if working with local project files (in a network or USB  drive) have the same odd behavior?

3. If you’re using SL360, kindly check if the version is 3.21.17083.0. If not, kindly update the apps, you can refer to this link on how to update: https://community.articulate.com/series/articulate-360/articles/articulate-360-user-guide-how-to-install-launch-desktop-authoring-apps

Thanks again Dominika for sharing your project file with me. I saw what you were describing where the slide shifts from the center to the top of the player based on the navigation items enabled. I'll share this with my team so we can narrow down why this is happening and will post an update here as soon as I can!

Hi, Dominika!

Remember when slides could shift up or down in a published course when player navigation features were enabled on some slides and disabled on others? That issue is now fixed in update 24 for Storyline 360; check out all the new fixes and features here!

Here’s how you can update Storyline 360 to see everything this release has to offer. Let us know what you think, and thanks for bringing this issue to our attention!
