Published Content to CD won't run from outside office

Good morning,

I hope someone is able to offer me some advice. I have published some content to CD and then copied it to a USB stick. I want to be able to give this to users to take home but when I tried it on my home PC the Launch-Story.exe icon shows as an unknown file type and won't run. I gave it to someone else to try and they had the same issue. I have tried it on several PCs in the office (which do not have Articulate Storyline installed) and they do work. What am I doing wrong?

Thank you for your response. No, I don't.

I am wondering if it may have something to do with the fact that all USB sticks used in the office are encrypted and so when away from the office we have to enter a password to access the files. Do you think that could be affecting it?

Hi Jackie,

I don't believe the auto run will work off the USB based on security restrictions within Windows. You should still be able to utilize the .EXE file though to run the course.

Hi Ashley,

It was the launch_story.exe file I was trying to run but it wouldn't work. I haven't tried copying the files to my PC and then running them though so I will try that tonight too.
