Published file completely out of wack starting today
Feb 23, 2017
I have been working on a project for the past 2 months. Many slides, some multimedia intensive, and many branches. All of a sudden after publishing today, the course is completely unstable and elements are non-clickable. I decided to try opening a previous version and updating a single text box and then publishing. This resulted in the whole scene being non-functional. I tested this with other scenes, updating as little as adding a period to a text block. I have the latest Storyline 2 update 11. It seems like a system bug if anything but very frustrating.

We are having similar issues. I think there might have been a Flash update pushed out by Adobe. Did that break the ability to play older modules? I think this has happened before.
It breaks modules if I make updates to them.
If I preview the entire project, everything looks and functions just fine. It's after publishing that things make a hard left.
Hi Michael
it is Flash or html5 version you are publishing to?
Both.
Hi Michael,
It could be an issue of file corruption, so I'd want to know if you were working from your local drive (C:) and following the other guidelines here. If you're working within those best practices, have you also tried importing it into a new project file as detailed here?
