Published output not working in different file locations

I saved and published a .story file locally. It works fine.

When I upload the files to SharePoint sometimes the hotspot in the very first interaction doesn't respond.

Clicking outside the hotspot displays the expected error message. Click on the hotspot shows the hand pointer but nothing else happens.

Not consistent though as some files are fine. All are produced using the same method and file locations.
