Publishing with "states" visible

Jun 20, 2014

Hello everyone,

Is there way for me to publish a module as a Word document and see the "states"? I need to see the text that appears when a user clicks on the white circle on the left. In the published version, this is the only view that I have. I need to route the word document to our approval committees and the text is not available to them.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Mike

Hi Mike,

I'm afraid not. It's not possible to include the states of each object in a project when publishing for Word.

If you need to include these for review, it might be a good idea to change the initial state of the objects to the state you need to display, then publish for Word.

If your project is rather large, I recommend saving the project using the "Save As" feature under a new file name. This way, when you're done, you won't have to backtrack and change everything back to its original setup.

I realize that may be tedious if the project is rather large, but I hope this suggestion helps.

I'd love to hear some tips from the community on this as well!

Best of luck with the project,

Christine
