Publishing within parallels

So I'm trying to publish a storyline file on osx, using parallels with a windows 7 vm. I have the windows environment completely isolated from the mac workspace. When I start a publish storyline will start to publish and encode the videos, then the progress bar starts going and then just disappears back to the "Publish" screen. If I hit publish again the progress bar pops up and counts to slide 9 quickly then closes. The exact same files will render just fine on a windows 7 laptop, so I'm not quite sure what the issue is here.
VM specs
8 gig dedicated (of 16 total system ram)
1 gig video ram
64GB expanding disc space

Hi Aaron,
In addition to working exclusively in the Windows side, you'll want to disable the shared profile as described here in this article on Parallels.
Please let us know if you need anything else.
I use the shared profile, I also have a folder set up on my C:\ drive to publish to when I have problems
Shared drives get treated as network drives
Yup I also disabled shared profiles. Still not working correctly.
find your c: drive in windows create a directory in there and publish to that directory
