quiz problem

Hi Patty! One way you can achieve what you're going for is by adding a couple of triggers to automatically select and resubmit the questions that were correctly answered initially (using the variables you already have). Take a look at the attached file and see if that does the trick? 

LMS Saba - SCORM1.2

Quiz with 10questions, passing score = 100%.

1st attempt

·        Ireply rightly to 6 questions

·        Theresult page writes 60% in the %Results.ScorePercent%% 

·        Iexit the course and the platform tracks incomplete – Score 60%  OK

2nd attempt

·        Itry again the platform course

·        Ican answer only to the question I gave the wrong reply

·        Ireply rightly to all the questions

·        Inthe result page it marks 100% in %Results.ScorePercent%%

·        Iexit the course and the platform tracks incomplete and not Passed – Score 100% WRONG

I read an article of the forum and I downloadeda file which explains the Saba platform publishing procedure (I attach herewiththe “Articulate_SCORM-1-2-and-Saba.docx” file)…

… If completion is determined by a final quiz, right-click on the imsmanifest.xmlfile and choose to edit it (with something like Notepad or Notepad ++).

While editing thisfile be very careful.  You want toprecisely edit only the following:  Lookfor a line that will look like this: 80


In the example above, 80 is the score requiredto pass the final quiz.
Very carefully, delete just the score numbers, so you get something like this:


Now save your changes and exit the editing program.
So why do this?  With a mastery score value, the Saba LMS willtake over determining the learner’s completion status from the contentitself.  Normally, you will want thecontent alone to determine completion and not the LMS.
More importantly, with a mastery score value, Saba will determine completionand if the learner does not get a score of at least 80%, Saba will assume the“Failed” status (despite what you might have indicated earlier) and send thelearner’s registration to their Transcript with a status of unsuccessful.

I tried to keep100 in the imsmanifest.xmlfile.

I triedother quizzes with Storyline standard features  and I got the right results, that is: if I delete100 (100, at the first attempt it tracks Incomplete,at the second attempt  it tracks Passed.

Why it does not work at the same way?

Hi Patty! I'm not familiar with the details but it seems this may have something to with the Saba LMS.  I just tested your course in SCORM Cloud and it looks to be working & recording properly there. 

Does this record properly for you if you try it from here?
