We have a WBT with several knowledge check questions all of them have the Try again layer. The attempts has been set to 3 in the questions and we have different layers (incorrect, try again, correct and prompt) and triggers. Our problem is the following, everytimes a user answers the questions inccorectly, this answer is transmitted to our LMS (all 3) instead of sending only the last answer. Moreover, if the user goes to the next slide and comes back to the previous slide and answers it again, then those answers are also sent to our LMS. We end up with several answers for the same questions. How do we prevent this situation?
This does sound a bit strange, usually the "Submit Interaction" trigger will fire from the feedback layer that's final for that slide. For example, the "Correct" or "Incorrect" layers. Do you see this trigger on your "Try again" layer(s)?
Also, have you tried testing your course outside of your current LMS to see if the same issue occurs? If not, I suggest using SCORM Cloud for your course - it's a great place to test SCORM content.
