Quiz Questions Shuffling in Review

Has anyone ran into this?  The final exam quiz questions are set to shuffle.  We have some instances with a client that when they Review the exam, it is then shuffling those questions in the review instead of the order in which the client answered those questions in the exam.  So, instead of it reviewing question in 1, 2, 3, 4, etc. order, it may review in a random order such as question 3, 5, 10, 6, etc.

I can't see anything wrong within the course as I've previewed the course and it functions fine (shuffles within the exam and then shows the questions as they were answered in the review).  It also works fine when tested in SCORM.

Any thoughts?

Thanks for reaching out and sharing what is happening with your client when reviewing the quiz.

It sounds like you cannot recreate the issue, which certainly makes it difficult to track down.

  • Have you narrowed this down to a particular browser and environment? 
  • Are they reviewing the course using a button added to the Result Slide?
  • Can your client recreate the issue when taking the quiz via your SCORM Cloud link?

We do have one similar issue specific to Reviewing the content after a retry of a question bank. Are you able to recreate the behavior using this scenario:

  1. Take Quiz and Fail (no review)
  2. Retry Quiz and Pass
  3. Review Quiz
