I create quiz which allows user to attempt multiple times.
Running a custom report using the SCORM 2004 quiz data report return the value 1 for every Quiz Attempt.
When I asked the LMS administrator about the reason. I was called that it`s SCORM configuration foult. Can you tell me how can i create SCORM in a correct way to show multiple quiz attempts in LMS report (final assessment).
I'm sorry you're having this SCORM issue! I would love to get you some information on this! First, I have a follow-up question. Are you trying to track the number of attempts using your LMS?
I'm sorry that you're also having an issue with this! Currently, that data isn't automatically reported to the LMS by Storyline. Here is an article about the quiz data that is sent to the LMS.
But the good news is you can create your own custom variables to have the LMS track the number of attempts. Here is an article on how to do that!
The thing is I have already tried to send the variable as explained on the article and it did not really work out. What it says is that I need to use Text Entry - but I am trying to capture the number variable which counts how many times the user presses 'Retry' button on the result slide. And that Text Entry does not allow me to link the number variable.
So I used Numeric Entry and it did not capture the attempts at all unfortunately. Therefore would you be able to elaborate on that by sharing a refined example file at least on how to do it with Text Entry short answer survey question please?
I recommend using a short answer survey question instead of a numeric entry slide on their project file. The steps are in the link provided above.
