Random Question Quiz
Feb 25, 2016
Hi all,
We have been creating quizzes with a 30 question bank in which the student answers 10 randomly selected questions from this bank.
If the student fails, they have the opportunity to retry the quiz. However, when they retry, they are getting the same 10 questions (not necessarily in the same order). Is there a way of stopping this so the student gets different questions if they need to retake?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks,
Hannah

Hi Hannah!
Having the same questions presented to the learner when retrying a question bank quiz in HTML5 is something our QA Team is aware of.
I will add this thread for user awareness and so that we can update when applicable.
Hi Leslie,
any update on this issue?
Thanks,
Ajit
Hello Ajit! Thanks for reaching out - I assume this means the issue is affecting you as well.
We are working to better prioritize issues based on user impact. That being said, I do not have an update to provide, but I do know that this is one close to the top of our radar.
This article explains how we tackle these bugs.
Hi Leslie
Do you have an update on this issue as I have the same problem?
Many thanks
Caroline
Hi Caroline,
Since this thread is a bit older, let's start fresh. What version of Storyline are you using? Also, are you using a randomized question bank?
