Reconfiguring or replacing the "Previous" button
Mar 28, 2017
In my course I've made heavy use of the "layers" and only started a new "slide" when I had a new topic/concept. I had to do this for the index to make any sense. But... because of this, when a person wants to start the topic over "Previous" takes them too far back (back to the start of the previous topic).
I want them to have a button that just restarts their current slide. Not the previous one. I've looked around at the standard options in the trigger for the Previous button but I don't see a way to do this.
I know I can build my own custom button for each layer that returns you to the base layer for the slide you are on, and that would work. But I don't want to lose screen real estate to display it. I want it down in the bottom bar where the Next/Previous buttons are.
Any ideas?

Hi
Have you tried to change the Previous button trigger option
Instead of the trigger statement "Jump to previous slide" change it to "Jump to XX Slide" with this option being the current slide
You may need to modify the slide properties "when revisiting"
You could also create a home button for those that need to restart the topic
Looks like Mr C hit the nail on the head here Geoff. I just wanted to pop in and share an article that may be helpful on this topic as well.
