Record Microphone Box

Is there are any way that I can make the "Record Microphone" box stay in the toolbar instead of always being in the way of my slides?

I narrate every single slide and it's a real annoyance to open the dialog box and get a recording done and each time I have to move it out of the way of everything. If it were on the tool bar in the Media segment or its own segment on the toolbar then it would eliminate much frustration on my part.
