Record Screen and Use Multiple Outputs in One Course?

I'm trying to duplicate what my team is currently making for training products in Storyline 2 and came across a snag. In our current version of courses (not in Storyline; testing it out to see if we'll switch in 2015 (fingers crossed!)) we explain a feature of our product then give the user the option to watch it being done (screen cast) or complete the steps using our example (simulation). I love how Storyline 2 has the built in functionality but I'm getting stuck on how to use the same recording to create both options in the course. Is this something the software can do? In the tutorials it says "or" so I'm assuming no at this point. Is there a work around like saving the video locally, renaming it and importing it? Do I need to recapture the screen to create the second delivery method?
If not, this would be a great future feature add. Agree?

You may want to look at the information on using View, Try, and Test modes with the screen recording feature.

Thanks Emily! I did review that tutorial already. My question is specifically, can i use the View, Try and Test modes simultaneously in a course or can I only choose one output at a time per recording?

You can use the same recording multiple times within one course. Just select it under the Insert Record Screen and select it a second time.
