I have recorded a screen and it works perfectly when i preview my storyline project but shows up as a blank screen after publishing. I have deleted and rerecorded at least 3 times and get the same result. Any suggestions?
I had issues like this when running through our LMS but the folks at Articulate were able to give us direction on how to change a setting in the LMS. Are you viewing through an LMS?

What are you viewing your published storyline with? Computer, iPad, etc.
Are you viewing it through an LMS?
If you are viewing through a browser, which one?
Basically we need some more information if one of us is going to be able to help you.

I am viewing the published storyline program with a computer using IE. All other components are working correctly.

Right at the moment I am just trying to play the module after uploading it to a web server.

Could be that your server doesn't support the MP4 MIME type. See if the steps in this article resolve your issue.
