Not sure if this is new user error or a bug with the system but when I record my screen and then insert the step-by-step slides, I find that when playing them back, the recording on each slide appears initially, then the mouse and hints play followed by the recording at the end. The problem with this is that screen is cluttered with the actions before the mouse and on screen hints come on.
Am I doing something wrong or are others experiencing this issue.

Hello, I am experiencing similar issues. And I am only using my laptop, disconnected the other monitors. And still the recording screen is cut off and I can see the red line, where the recording is supposed to be on the screen. See attached.
What version and update of Storyline are you using? You can check by going to the "Help" Tab -> "About Articulate Storyline". Also, what's the screen resolution on your laptop while recording?
