I recall seeing this discussion some time ago but can't seem to find it by searching. It's my turn - I'm getting a big white screen with a red x saying I insufficient disk space and/or memory. I shut down everything except Storyline with limited success but it comes back.
Figured it out. It was a memory issue. VMware Fusion had an update/upgrade. It conflicted with my OS X Leopard. I needed the latests of both so upgraded to Lion first, then VM v4.x. Finally bumped the VM disk up to 200 Gig from 80. Took all afternoon, but think I got it. If it happens again I'll grab some screen shots and send the .story file.
