I am brand new to Storyline, coming over from Captivate, and I'm enjoying it so far!
One of the things I have not figured out, though, is how to customize and/or remove the "submit" buttons on quizzes, or the navigation buttons on other slides. Are these automatic no matter what?
I would like to be able to remove them in some instances so I can build in other navigational elements in the product itself. I know I can do this already, but it would be much cleaner if I could remove the default buttons too.

To remove the Submit button, click the little gear icon to the right of your base slide. Here's a pic:
You can also access the Slide Properties from Story View on the right side.
To change the text label, click on the Player>Text Labels. Pic:
To customize the look of the button, turn it off (like in the first picture), and create your own button!
