repeating text entry answers in later slide

Oct 27, 2023

I'm very new to storyline and can't find anything online which will help me out with this conundrum...

What I would like is to have a slide at the beginning which asks the learner what their hopes are for the e-learning, and then at the end of the learning show them their answer again and ask them if they achieved this.

Does anyone have any suggestions/ideas/advice for how I could do this? Thanks in advance :-)

Insert a Text Entry Field. When you do that, Storyline automatically creates a variable that stores whatever is entered in the field. Variable values can be accessed from anywhere in the course. To show the answer later, insert a reference to the text-entry variable.

In Storyline, variable references appear as the name of the variable with a percent sign (%) before and after it. When you preview or publish, variable references will be replaced with the actual values of the variables they represent.

You can also create a reference to any variable by typing in a variable name into the text box. Just like this %myvariable%
