I have a multiple choice questions which pertains to a short video clip that is on the question screen. After the video plays you can't play it again. Is there any way to allow the user to play the video over?
Hi, Mike: Are you using Storyline? If so, well, I put in a dummy movie on a multiple choice and was able to watch it many times. I suspect you want them to be able to watch the video after they've received feedback. In that case, I'd place a "watch video again" link on the feedback slide. That way, if they got the answer right and just want to keep on truckin', they can.
I'm interested in video, so let me know if this helps. --Daniel
We are trying to do the first method. Video in the multiple choice, not in the feedback.
So yours worked?! We put a video in a multiple chaioce and we cannot get it to play over :-( I'm wondering if we are missing a setting somewhere. I'm going to try this on another PC with a different clip to see if I can narrow down the problem.
Well - we must have had a glitch because after putting in a new encoded file it worked. The only thing is - to get the video to play again you have to either click on the video itself (the screen portion) or click on the status bar and then click the play button. Just clicking on the play button after the video has finished doesn't so anything.
Hi, Mike: Christine makes a really good point about "showing the video controls." Viewers should be able to scrub through the video or rewind. Click on Options tab on the right. Inserted a video into a multiple choice and had no issues scrubbing through and rewinding it to view again. --Daniel

BTW - yes, we use Storyline.
Thanks

Hi Mike,
What type of video is this? Are you embedding the video from a web site, or inserting it as a web object?
Also, do you have video controls enabled, or just the seekbar for the slide?
Any chance you can share the .STORY file here so we can take a look at what's happening?
Thanks!
