Required answers in storyline

Hy,
I'm asking for your help for a Storyline project - I have the version 3.20.16414.0
I need to force learners to give at least one answer before validating a question.
I've already searched about the subject and found that it depends on the form we use and that it works only for survey questions. Can you confirm this ? I don't know if it's the case for my part because I'm not the creator of this E-learning and I don't know if it's visible somewhere. On the attached capture, you could see than no menu is available for answer requirement.
Anyway, if it's not possible, can someone could explain me how I can do this by a variable or another way ?

Storyline should default to requiring a learner to pick an answer before submitting an interaction. If they click submit without choosing an option they should see a message asking them to complete the question.
It's not the case in my project.
I can directly go to another question without giving any answer.
Is there a global parameter I can set ?
No global setting that I'm aware of.
When you navigate away from a question are you doing so by clicking next/back buttons rather than submit? What happens if you click submit before selecting an option? I'd expect you to see this dialogue:
If so, disabling the next/back buttons so that the only way to proceed is via the submit button could be your solution.
No previous nor next button are available.
When I click on the submit button, nothing happens except the next question...
Are you able to share your .story file?

Anybody else have an idea or a solution to restore it by a variable on the submit button ?
If not, i think i will have to redo the quiz entirely with survey questions...
I've found the solution..
It's because of the triggers on the submit button.
The one which permits to go to the next slide was before the one which validate the quizz...

in my file, there is no option for 'required' in storyline 2, n its updated version then what should i do for enabling the required option?

Do you have a submit button on your quiz questions, or have you removed that and only show the next/previous buttons? If you're not sure, can you share your .story file here with us so that we can take a look?
