I am sure there s a simple answer for this but it is eluding me!
I want to add a restart slide button on a slide master so if the user wants to restart a slide, they can always click it and go back to the beginning of the slide. I am sure it involves a trigger but cannot figure out which trigger to use.
You should be able to do this fairly quickly, depending on the set up of your slide. First, be sure that you have your slide set to "Reset to initial state". Once you've done so, simply add a trigger to your reset/restart button to jump to that same slide.
If you have any trouble with this, just let me know!
Thanks, Christine. If I am correct, this would need to be done for every slide. I was looking for a solution for the slide master to control all of the slides. Will it work that way? If it cannot be done on the slide master, I can add it to each slide. It will just take a while. I have a lot of slides!
I don't think it would work that way, because you would need to specify a specific slide for each slide. If there were an option to select "this slide" or "current slide", then I could see this happening

Thank you, Christine. Sounds like an opportunity for an enhancement in the system but you gave me a great work-around. Thanks!
I recommend anyone still struggling with this, have a read of this slide - great solution that does the job!
