restricted menu on flash5 version

Apr 15, 2013

I saw in the comparison chart that restricted menu are not supported in flash version.

Is there a way to avoid user to jump forward to following slides ?

Consider that in flash version I've a quiz every 50 slides and I lock the slides after the quiz if you don't pass the quiz itself

thanks

Hi, Riccardo!

I assume you're referring to the HTML5 version?

Would removing the seekbar altogether be an option for you? To remove the seekbar from a single slide (or series of slides), uncheck the Seekbar box in the slide propertiesTo remove the seekbar from the entire course, uncheck the Seekbar box in Player > Features.

Alternatively, you can prevent users from advancing too quickly by disabling the built-in Next button until they've met certain conditions, such as clicking all the buttons on the slide or listening to all the narration.  Another option is to remove the built-in Next button and create your own custom button for navigation.  Or, you can restrict navigation for your entire course by making a simple change to your player settings.

This article has more information on each of these methods.
