I need some help with regards to the results pages of my quizzes. When the user answers the last question in a quiz and submit their results, the results page appears for about a second and then disappears. The slides then immediately move on to the next section. I want the results slide to display and allow the user to view their score and provide them with the option to retry or review the quiz before they move on. What am I doing wrong?
It's hard to troubleshoot without seeing the Storyline file. Based on what you wrote, the problem may be one of these situations:
The Results slide is set to advance automatically. This is controlled in the Slide Properties. It should be set to "By user" to allow the user to control when to advance.
There is a trigger that advances to the next slide when the timeline reaches a certain point.
Thank you for the feedback Judy. I checked my slide properties and they are set to be advanced by the user. I looked at my slide triggers and they are all set to 'when the timeline starts. So I am not sure what more to look out for.
Your settings take you right to either the Success or Failure layers when the timeline starts, so the user never spends time on the base slide where they would see the results. The layer slides have solid fill so the base content is not visible in the background (and would be blocked by the characters anyway). I would make the layer background No Fill and move the characters and text box on the layer so that the base slide shows through. Here is a screen shot of one of the Success layers done that way.

I suggest you upload the file (or a copy with the offending slides). Then perhaps someone in the Forum can figure out the problem.
I will do, thank you.
