Results Slide Not Coming Up upon user completion of Sections

Mar 15, 2023

Hello,

I have Storyline 3, it is an old 2015 version. My file has 3 sections with texts and quizzes. The sections do not need to be completed in order. After several test runs, I am still unable to get to the results page after the course completion.

I've even tried deleting and re-creating the results page. Is there anyone who might have had this issue before?

Hi Leslie,
I’m happy to help find the fix! I understand that your results slide isn’t appearing after a user completes a section. I have a couple of follow-up questions to help me better understand what you’ve created.
  1. Where is the “jump to results slide” trigger located? Is it on the last slide in every section?
  2. Does the trigger have any conditions attached to it?
  3. Would it be possible to share your story file so I could test some possible solutions for you? You can add it to this discussion or share it privately in a support case.
Thanks for reaching out and I look forward to your response!

Good Afternoon,

I am just seeing this message.

The jump to results slide trigger is located on the last slide in every section.

The triggers conditions is that all sections must be "visited".

The file is too large to share here. I will need to share it in the support case.

Thank you,
Leslie

Hi Leslie,

Great idea opening a case! I see you've connected with my teammate, Darwin, and he recommended using "When the timeline starts on the slide" to activate the "Jump to Slide" trigger. I'm happy that this resolved the issue!

Also, your contact information came through with your post. This brief Peek video shows how to edit it if you like.

Enjoy the rest of your day!
