Revealing multiple layers
Jul 13, 2016
Hello folks,
Is it possible to reveal multiple layers simultaneously? To elaborate, I am building a multiple choice pre-quiz and if the wrong answers are selected I want allow the user to have the ability to select the modules pertaining to the questions they got wrong. I have set it up so each module title is on a different layer. It appears that using true/false and value variables do not work. Only one layer will show up at a time and not the rest.
Has anyone tried something similar?
Thanks!

Hi Jeremy
perhaps adjusting the slide layer properties and unchecking 'hide other slide layers' will work for you
Hi Jeremy
As Wendy says, I would untick the 'hide other slide layers'. I would also add cascading triggers on each slide layer to 'show layer x on start of timeline' (ie on layer A add trigger show layer B at start of t/l, and then on layer B add trigger to show layer c at start of t/l, cont...)
Keep doing these triggers til get to final layer which should be the one on screen - with all other layers showing through the untick option.
The show layer triggers at start of timeline, should mean that this will happen quite seamlessly in an instant.
Hi, Jeremy -- Lots of great input here so far! If you are all set, please say the word, or if you need more help, you might want to upload your file via the grey ADD ATTACHMENT button in the bottom left of the reply box and you will be able to browse from there.
Excellent! The feedback worked! Thanks so much folks :)
