Review Quiz - skipping content

Aug 23, 2016

It looks like Storyline 2 now skips over any other content (other than quiz questions) upon reviewing a quiz. I want the learner to be able to revisit content between questions while reviewing. Is there a way to alter this navigation behavior?

Hi Samantha,

Do you have the content slides in between quiz slides? Or are all the quiz slides together at the end of the file? If the slides are in between, Storyline should view them all. If the content slides are before the quiz, you could set a trigger to jump to the first one when they hit the review button.

Also, we can take a look at the file if you could attach it here.

Hi Emily, The content slides are between quiz slides - it's actually just a separate rationale slide for each quiz question. The attached example is only one question, but the behavior is the same as modules with multiple. Upon hitting Review Quiz and then Next, I'm taken back to the Results slide; it skips right over the other content (rationale) slide.

Hi Samantha,

I have found that the behavior has changed in SL2, as now content slides seem to be skipped upon review. One thing you could do is remove the default review results button and just create a custom one and have it jump back to the first slide. This won't allow the correct/incorrect layers show, but that may be achievable using variables. I will try and put something together later today or tomorrow to share.
