We have an eLearning module that needs to save user response scores for each question to an LMS. We've changed the scoring for each quiz question from "by question" to "by choice" and it seems to be functioning correctly inside our module. When we play it off of the LMS we are not getting those scores saved to the LMS. I was hoping that cmi.interactions.n.result would contain the score for the response but currently it sending over the words "correct" or "wrong". Is there a way to change that so it would contain the score of the response?
Is your course not being scored in the LMS at all, or you're just not able to see the individual question scores? If it's not being reported correctly, you may want to review this article on troubleshooting common LMS issues. If your LMS is not showing the individual question scores, you'll want to check with your LMS team to see if that is a feature available within your reports.
Our LMS is getting most of data we need, but not the individual response scores as numbers. I was hoping to re-assign cmi.interactions.n.result to a real number which is associated with each response instead of "correct" or "wrong" that's currently sent. That's supported in the SCORM spec. Does Storyline support that?
Reassigning the item would not be something I'm equipped to support, but there is a lot of similar discussion in this thread about updating similar elements. I also wanted to point you to the data sent to LMS by Storyline.
