I have a screen recording I want to add to one of my slide layers. But it only adds it to a new slide or untitled slide. Is there a way I can add it to specific slide?
I am still new to Storyline so apologies. The screen recording is only located under the "record screen". When I go to the "video" to add it as a video...there is no way that I see to locate it from there in order to add it. Under "video" it gives me four options; video from file (it is not saved in my files, it saved in storyline screen record), video from website (not what I want) , media library (says no videos in this project), and record webcam (not what I want). I does not allow me to copy and past the video when I right click or use "c" nothing happens.....
I can see the confusion. I was looking at your screen grab and was referencing inserting the video from there.
After you do the recording, you have the option to insert the video on a single slide. Do that. Then on the slide, you can copy the video and paste it into a layer.

Insert it as a video. On the slide you should be able to copy and paste the video into the layer.
