This issue just started for me the other day; I'll do a screen recording and it'll say inserting slides and I'll see the slides being inserted and then at the last second when it finally gets completed they disappear. The screen capture is also nowhere to be found. I've tried running the programs as an administrator with no improvement. Once I was able to grab the screen capture in the temp file.
