Getting something that works well on Mobile and Desktop for screen recordings is going to be difficult. Ideally on the mobile you would show the user the mobile version of the website. You need to record the same size as you slide something like 1280x720 is a good screen size.

... also gets a little more difficult if you anticipate that most users on mobile will view the website in portrait vs landscape mode.
