(Other than manually hiding everything on the timeline)? I know you can preview things, but it would be nice if when scrubbing through the timeline on the stage you only see what will display at that point in time. This would be a very nice new feature.....
Thanks for chiming in and sharing your feature idea and use-case.
This one, due to user impact and request, is on our radar and I will add your thoughts and this conversation to the report.
I wanted to share some information about how we manage these feature requests as that may be helpful and I will update you here when I have any additional information to share.
I am DYING today trying to make edits in my timeline without being able to scrub and see elements that are behind others. Clicking the "visibility eye" on and off to see the state of the timeline at the current position of the playhead is making my hair turn gray. I promise that if you add this feature, I will literally sing the praises of Storyline from the rooftops (at least from our corporate offices, anyway). If you add ONE feature, please make it this! Thank you. :)
Thanks for chiming in to share your thoughts as well Fred. I've added them to the report and you should now be subscribed to any updates we share here.
I am headed up to the roof of our building (gotta sneak past security) to literally SING the praises of SL360. If security tackles me, then I will sign the praises of SL360 from my car as I drive around the campus. WOOHOO!! Thank you, Articulate! Now let's go see if it actually works... ;D

Hello Charmaine, have a look here and maybe make a feature request :

Looks like SL team does not think it's a useful feature unfortunately...

Hi Charmaine, Pierre, and Fred!
I have some great news to share. We just released another update for Storyline 360. In Update 66, we’ve included important fixes and new features.
One of the features we’ve included is:
Scrub the timeline to quickly see when timed elements appear and disappear on the stage without previewing the entire slide.
To take advantage of this update, launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer and click the Update button next to Storyline 360. You'll find our step-by-step instructions here.
Please let me know if you need additional help!
