Select and Deselect a button
Mar 09, 2017
This SHOULD be easy, but I'm running into issues.
I am using Radio Button Style 2 in a "Pick Many" activity. I want the text box next to the radio button to change to a state when the button is selected, but change back to normal if the learner deselects the button.
I can get the textbox to change to the state, but not back to normal.
I attached a true false variable to the button and it seems it doesn't return to normal when deselected (clicked a second time).
Is there a way around this?

Hey Christopher! I think you're almost there! :) Have a look at this article about creating a toggle button; that way, one click will toggle the text box appearing!
If it doesn't work, can you share your file here, and we'll have a look? Thanks!
I had managed to figure it out (using multiple True/False variables), but setting the radio button to "NOT Assigned" seemed to really simplify things.
Thanks a bunch!
Hi Christopher,
It's been a while since you've posted your question. Can you share your solution with me?
I think I'm experiencing the same issue as you were (https://community.articulate.com/discussions/articulate-storyline/adjusting-post-quiz-feedback#reply-647466) and looking for a solution.
Thanks in advance!
