Showing final layer after states have been visited issues
Sep 24, 2020
Hello everyone,
I hope someone is able to help.
I have 4 objects on a slide. Each object triggers a layer (a, b, c, d). The objects 1-4 on the base layer change their state to visited.
I have a final 'conclusion' layer which I would like to appear, once all 4 objects on the base layer change their state to visited, and layers a, b, c and d have been closed (by selecting icon 'X').
I have tried various methods, but just can't get the conclusion layer to show once all the objects and layers above have been interacted with. I have seen some previous discussion with similar issues, and have tried the suggestions, but still can't make it work.
I've even tried to add the conclusion as a separate slide, but still can't get it to move on and I'd rather not put an extra click or button in.
Can someone see what I'm doing wrong?

See the triggers for the X button on the PanAmerican layer in the attached. Replicate these triggers for the X buttons on the 3 other layers.

Michael, thank you so much!. I had been working on this for ages on something that I thought was quite simple, but just couldn't understand why that layer wasn't showing.
It clearly wasn't as simple as I thought - to me anyway!
I understand the show layer logic, when the states = visited, but not the hide layer logic yet when the states are not equal to visited. I will try and get my head around that.
Once again, thank you for your assistance.
Kind regards.

The Hide Layer trigger logic ensures that if any of the four required items is not in Visited state (meaning it has not been clicked yet), then return to the baselayer, rather than showing the Conclusion layer. Hope that makes sense.
Of course, it makes so much sense when you put it like that. Thank you!
