SL Tries to Close Itself

Hello,
SL periodically closes itself. This seems to happen almost exclusively when the timeline stops while editing, whether I stopped it or it reaches the end. If changes need to be saved, the "Do you want to save . . . ." box opens. Otherwise, it simply disappears.
I tried moving the file to a spot I know is on my C: drive. That did not solve the problem. Save As was unsuccessful; as was copy/paste into a fresh project. (With both I closed and reopened the files before trying.) Nor is the problem restricted to a single project.
Environment:
Win 10 Ent V1903 build 18362.1256 64-bit
i7 10810U CPU
16 GB RAM
SL v3.53.25436.0
This is quickly moving past irritating so I appreciate anyone's assistance.
Thanks much,

Every two hours (one, if I'm doing something really important), I save and completely close SL, check my email, and reopen SL. Some people don't like to do that, but it seems best practice to me. SL is notoriously bad with memory, corruption, and just closing down. I don't have very many of those problems.
Yeah, I noticed it too when using spacebar to preview the slide and when I press it again to stop it asks "Do you want to save". I don't know what's going on ...
Hello everyone,
Thank you for reaching out and sharing what you are experiencing in the latest update. This is an issue that has been reported to our team. I've added this conversation so that we can share updates with you here.
In the meantime, if you select Cancel on the pop-up, you can continue working without the program closing.
Everyone,
Thanks for your responses.
Nejc, for me also, that is the most common occurrence.
Leslie, it is definitely better with the pop-up than without. I have taken to making insignificant changes, such as moving the off-slide audio icon, right after saving to ensure I get the pop-up rather than have to go find the file to reopen it.
Thanks again,

Update: New release applied and I have yet to run into this problem since.
