SL1: Notes tab not scrolling in mobile Safari

Here's the set-up:

• Storyline 1: Update 8
• Notes panel in a tab
• Viewing HTML5 output in mobile Safari
• Can't use AMP since LMS is not Experience API enabled
• Using suggested two-finger scrolling gesture

I know that other users have had this issue in the past. I wanted to check in to see if any progress has been made to resolve this issue or if there any workarounds to this. Thanks in advance!
