I have a huge project with multiple scenes and individual slides with layers etc. The problem we encounter from time to time and its totally random is that the Storyline2 software stops responding on adding a trigger (99% - jump to slide)
we have rebuilt the slide menu & checked project settings etc. we have uninstalled and reinstalled storyline. we have uninstalled, ran cleanup batch file, reinstalled.
my entire project works fine, except the time i try to add a trigger to jump to next slide.
is there any error log, debug info that i can use to figure out the problem ?
You can pull the crash and error logs as described here and there is a link to upload it to our support team there. Please also confirm you're working on local project files as described here.
Please confirm that you are working locally with your files as described here. Have you followed all of the steps outlined here? You could share the file here if you would like us to take a look and see if we can reproduce the issue.
If not, try to delete the problem question slide and replace it with a new one. Then try adding a new trigger. See if you can replicate the same issue.

Hi Hardeep,
I see that our Support team sent you an email on January 20th and I'm just following up here. I've included an excerpt from the email below:
Do you encounter the same issue with a new project file and question slide?
If yes, to help us diagnose this issue, please upload the Articulate Storyline 2 error logs from your computer for us to review. Here's how:http://www.articulate.com/support/storyline-2/how-to-upload-articulate-storyline-2-error-logs-to-articulate-support
If not, try to delete the problem question slide and replace it with a new one. Then try adding a new trigger. See if you can replicate the same issue.
