SL2 Update 4 vs Update 5

Hello,
I've got a module that when published in SL2 Update 5 displays the Grey Circle of Death Flash player issue.
When published on a machine with SL2 Update 4 the Grey Circle of Death issue does not happen, however it does seem to corrupt formatting of text within captions and also text entry input fields - they are never automatically in focus.
Now - this is far from ideal because it means I either have to publish a poor looking/functioning module that allows me to complete it, or alternatively have a better looking module that then crashes 80% through it. Neither are acceptable.
Is there a new update planned that might fix these issues? Can I roll back to update 3 to see if that helps? Any help much appreciated.

Hi Greg,
Update 7 was released about a week ago that dealt with the Grey Circle of death issue in Internet explorer. You can read through the release notes here and download the update.
Thanks Ashley - I downloaded and installed the latest version from your link (update 6: 1507.2315) but I still got the Grey Circle of Death issue in IE. Do I need to clear cache?

The latest update is Update 7 - so you're still on an earlier version....I checked my link and it's only going to Update 7 for me, so I'm not sure how you got update 6...but maybe can you connect with our Support team so that they can send you a different link or zipped files?
Once you download it, I don't think you'd need to clear the cache - just republish. I guess it wouldn't hurt to clear out the cache though.
that was weird - clicked on the Support team link and downloaded the version from there and it's version 7! Oh well, at least we got there in the end! Will republish and see what happens. Every appendage is crossed!!!
