I have a text area control for a short answer interaction, and I'm trying to have the 'type your text here' appear in italics. However, my applied formatting always reverts back to the original. I've seen this appear as a bug going back 5 years and I'm wondering if there's actually a fix.
I've tried some of the solutions like 'Set as Default Text Box' but that doesn't work.
The text entry box with the pre-populated text can't have the formatting adjusted, but it is something that a few folks have shared as a feature request idea.
We get tons of requests and ideas here in the forums and also through our feature request form.
