Slide Graphics Appear Incorrectly on Different Screens

Sep 22, 2019

Hello,

I am new to Storyline 360. My colleague and I were both making comments on our .story file in Review 360 and noticed that certain graphics were not appearing on slides when he viewed the project on his laptop (see "Slide with Missing Graphics" image). When I viewed the project on my laptop, everything showed up correctly (see "Slide with Correct Graphics" image). We tried re-sizing his browser window and switching to his other monitor (same PC), but problem persisted. I tried exporting the file for web as HTML5, but saw the exact same behavior. We both used the same version of the Chrome browser to view it.

Hoping it's a simple answer and easy fix, but does anyone know what might cause this? We want to ensure that the slides look the same on any computer viewing the training.

Thanks for your time!

Hi Shaun,

Thanks for reaching out and sharing what you're experiencing with your published project.

I appreciate the pictures so that I could understand the issue.

With your permission, I'd like to take a look at your project file to investigate what's happening. You can share it publicly here, or send it to me privately by uploading it here. I'll delete it when I'm done troubleshooting.

Thanks - I've uploaded the file and screen captures using the link you provided and received a follow-up (Case #01975919), but still waiting for additional follow-up, as the problem still persists. I attempted to group graphics together as was suggested in a previous thread (https://community.articulate.com/discussions/articulate-storyline/html5-content-disappear-in-chrome-72-0-3626-109), but that unfortunately did not solve my issue. Please let me know if more information is needed to identify what's going on.

Best regards.
