I have not heard or read anything that suggests that a slide has an identifier, but I see that the published artifacts have "hash" looking names like 5aA3OEA55tC.swf. Looking at suspend data, these type of numbers seem to appear as well. Whatever the basis for assigning these numbers to slides, can they be relied on not to change?
Will the "identifier" match (without the extension) in the HTML5 output?
If I did any integration that relied on identifying slides by these alphanumeric strings, I would want to know that subsequent publishing after updates wouldn't alter the string.

NO I think they are regenerated each time you publish, never checked though

As far as I understand they are random and generated when you publish.
Any idea if they remain "stable?"
