How do I get a hotspot to sit on top of a slide layer? I'm sure this must be really simple, but I cannot see how to order these, and the slide layer is blocking the functionality of the hotspot.
I have drawn my own button for return to menu - three horizontal lines. I want to change the state of the 3 lines on Hover & Click. The only way I can see how to do that is to draw the new state, place it over the baseline drawing as a layer, which appears when you hover over it. Then then click on the hotspot to jump slide.
The problem was/is that parts of my custom button are apparently invisible, so I changed the graphic to a jpeg instead of a png which worked just fine as a solid image. However I've made life difficult for myself by having a gradient shaded background on all my charts, so at one side of the screen the jpeg shows up as a < on a solid box which spoils the look. I'll just have to do some really clever graphics work tomorrow which is a terrible use of time! Never, ever use a gradient shaded background!

I would place the hotspot inside of the layer itself, covering it all up.
Is the hotspot visible from inside a hidden layer?
No. Maybe if I knew what you are trying to do it would help :)
Why would the hotspot sit's on top of a layer it the layer is invisible?

Something like this?
If you, this is a good tutorial on how to do it.

Many thanks. It also gave me the right terminology to do a better search on this forum, and came across a post from 7 months ago. Thanks.
Glad you were able to get the assistance that you needed here Lynn :)
