I am currently writing an eLearning course in StoryLine 2, but the slides keep auto-advancing. I have removed the 'Jump to next slide when the timeline ends' trigger and used 'Jump to next slide when user clicks next button'.
The new trigger advising to jump to next slide upon clicking next button is the first in order of the triggers, therefote should be done in this order?
I have checked the auto play settings, and this is also set to 'by user' and not automatically.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am on a tight deadline for this! :)
Did you import any PowerPoint slides that could have had animations on them? Have you checked the master slides as well.? Happy to take a look if you want to upload the story file.
I also wanted to add that in the interests of meeting your deadline, you are also welcome to work directly with our support staff by submitting a case using this link.
Yes, Wendy, thank you. I found another thread on here with the same issue and discovered the properties 'advance automatically' was my problem. Good to go.

Hi Sammie
check there are no transitions on the slides
Hi Wendy,
Thanks for your reply. I have just checked all slides, and there are no transitions in place.
Thanks,
Sammie

Hi Wendy,
I did import a PowerPoint as a basis, but again no transitions used as far as I can see.
Where do I upload the story file to? Here or somewhere else?
Thanks in advance.
Sammie
Hi Sammie
if you are happy to load to this public forum ( I'm not staff just someone trying to help) just use the add attachment button here in the post.
Hi, Sammie -
I see Wendy is helping you here, and she is correct: if you would like to upload your .story file for us to take a look at, all you need to do is use the "Add Attachment" button and navigate to your file on your machine from there. In addition, please see this information on Tips for Importing Microsoft PowerPoint and Articulate Presenter Content, as well as this tutorial, Importing Slides from Microsoft Powerpoint.

Hi, Sammie. Did you get an answer to your issue? I'm having the same problem, but I didn't import any slides from Powerpoint.
Hi Laura
Hard to say without seeing your file? Have you checked
Happy to take a look if you want to upload the file (or a few slides if it's happening to all)
