I'm working on a prototype of software tutorial. I have 47 scenes with approximatly 7 slides each with a lot of video capture. The file size is like 467Mo. My project is now really slow and it does'nt come from my pc performance (i7 CPU - 16 Go).
Is it possible to break my project in multiples files and link there publish to each others? With a Scorm tracking?
I am having similar issues with Story View. It's so slow that I wish there was another way to rename scenes without opening it. Is there anyway to improve the performance of this feature for the next release or upgrade?
I'm using SL 2 with the latest upgrade. Ever since I've started using SL, Story View has been been my least favourite feature because of performance. Despite working locally, creating new projects and importing files, it always seems to be the bottleneck, especially when I rename or delete a scene. I always make sure I have an extra slide tab open so I don't have to deal with it. Sorry to frank here, but It's kind of like waiting for paint to dry, except the paint is Story View. I think, overall, the product is great, though.

Hi Remi,
I apologize for the issues that you're having. Is the content slow in the published version or are you having lag issues while authoring the content?
The publish version is fine. It's while authoring the content, specialy when I'm in the Story View.
Hi Remi,
Mind submitting a support case to us along with your .story file so that we can take a closer look into it?

Hi Yenn!
What version/update of Storyline are you utilizing? This thread is a bit dated :)

Thanks for the update Yenn! I'm not seeing reports of this and it sounds like this is not file specific in your case.
I'd recommend conducting a repair of your software first, just to be sure.
If you still have difficulty, perhaps you can share a screen recording and your file here so that we can have a look at what may be going on.
Done. Thanks!
Thanks for the update, if you'd like to share your support case information, I'd be happy to follow along.
I think I deleted the case number. Sorry! I submitted yesterday morning and included the URL to this thread.
No problem :)
Snappy New Year!
