I have a problem with implementation of idea, in which good anserws stay on their drop areas and wrong come back to initial places, ready to be dragged again when user clicks try again. Is it possible to make?
You can achieve this under the drag and drop options. Select Return items to start point if dropped outside "a correct drop target." This will allow the correct ones to stay, and the incorrect ones go back to their start point.
Wojciech, instead of having the dragged object return to its starting point, why don't you have different states (correct/incorrect) depending on which where they drop the object. For example, if they drop the object in the wrong place, an "x" will show and they can try again. See the attached example.
Thanks, it is interesting, but not exacly what I want achieve.
I need drag&drop which works normally, but AFTER SUBMIT good anserws stay on their positions, and wrong come back to initial places. Submit is important for counting tries, and described mechanism allow to user think on his own, with no instant feedback like in your example. Unfortunately, the longer I think about it, the more it seems to me impossible in Storyline...
You will create try again button ,When you get wrong feedback. To put the trigger jumpto current slide(your drag and drop slide) for try again button and change the slide property state" reset to initial state"
Yes, this is totally what I was looking for! Thanks a lot!
Now, I have new riddle. ;) Where is the difference between my version (nowork) and changed version from linked article (work). It can be something related to upgrading file to SL2? I have no idea, why in my version drags don't change state to hidden.
In addition to the jump to slide trigger, you also need to add the triggers to change the variable of the rectangles on condition that they are "drop correct" when hitting the submit buttons.

But now is no possibility to make mistake, user can't drop drag on wrong area.
My intention was situation, in which user can drop every drag on every drop, but after submit, wrong anserws come back and good stay.

Hello Wojciech!
Hopefully the other options suggested will get you going in the right direction.
Look at the last post of this article. I does exactly what you are asking for.

On your Try Again Layer, you have to add a trigger on the button that say's
and (like Emily said as well) set the variables on drop correct.

Thanks, I overlooked that. Now I wonder, how to jump to slide with exercise, when it is in question bank.
